OK, there it is - Wearable Wares - it's up and running!

Really, REALLY CLOSE

I may well be launching the home page in the next day or so (June 1st sounds like a nice round date... no?). I've been working on it relentlessly (much to the chagrin of my family, quite honestly) and collecting opinions and constructive criticism (and likewise reconstructing as such, when applicable, which it pretty much always was). I think it's looking really good (for me and my capabilities) right now. Extra shout-out to those who provided those opinions... Roguen, Brandon, and Larry - thank you!!!

So, coming soon, the new Wearable Wares home page/portal site.

In the mean time, I'll let it out of the hat now, even though the updates and material have honestly been fairly minimal there thus far... the new shop that I've been hinting at is Xtian Outfitters. Feel free to take a look, or just as well, hang out a bit and wait for the launch of the new site to take a peek.

Hopefully I'll be back with another update soon. Until then...!

Just a quick update...

The new shop is up and running, and the splash page is almost totally completed... I just want to update the descriptions of both Clothe the Kiddos! and Hilarity Ensues... and add those descriptions to the splash page. Once done, I'll "launch" them both at the same time.

Updated blog!

The template, I mean. Although, yes, I'm also updating with a post. Anyway mild changes to the template, and a brand spankin' new logo! All of the various associated sites, for the most part, have been updated to include the new logo in their links, which is good.

Work is coming along nicely on the "splash" page, although parts of it are counting on both the new shop and the Sketchies Universe web comic sites being up and ready, but it's looking good in my book.

Logo is also up and running at the current Wearable Wares page.

busy busy busy...

Sorry for the sudden falling off the face of the earth. The last week has been nuts. I've done what I could, but nothing really substantial. I've spent some time creating the future Wearable Wares "splash" page, which is slowly being hand coded from scratch. So you may have to bear with me on it.

In the mean time, Tees I Dig and Clothe The Kiddos! are being updated as great designs are found.

Patience is the key here. And I'm talking to me, here.

Right!

Yea. I've done a lot in the last few days... which has led me to spend too much time editing and haven't taken the time to post about it.

Sooooooo.....

The list is now 147 items long. 24 are currently completed, at least a few more are partially so. Logos! Logos. You'll notice those in the links on the side... they're also at the tops of the various sites. I also have the logo(s) ready to go for the "mystery" future new shop. I'll talk more about that when I actually get around to putting together some designs for it. I'll "launch" it once I have 2 or 3 ready to go.

Still plenty more to do though. Need to dig up the old Wearable Wares logo to use in various places, but I'll get around to it. Plan to use it as a logo for this site too. All in good time. Anyway, links and logos up, hopefully it'll help get the search engines noticing.

High on the "to do" list:

- a few designs to get the new shop going
- finish web design and get posts ready for the official launch of The Sketchies Universe web comic site
- finish logoing

It Begins!!!

So... blog posting #1. Why a blog, you ask?

Well...

Wearable Wares is in the slow process of a MAJOR overhaul. Exciting news, if you ask me! This blog is one of the additions... here you'll find news about the work in process, other news about additions in the site, new designs on the various websites (more on that later, or in a future post, perhaps...), etc. I intend to keep it around to inform anybody who cares of all additions and such in the future, once the new changes are all in place.

I made a list of "to do" items... 125 items long. YEESH. So far, 10 done. This first post makes # 11.

Some highlights of things to come:
- The Sketchies Universe will become a full fledged web comic (irregularly updated)
- A new shop with a totally new (for me) design subject matter nitche
- 2 new blogs featuring designs that I didn't create, found, think are generally awesome or hilarious, and want to share (one filled only with designs for kids clothes)
- A new "splash" homepage that wearablewares.com will go to, with links to all of the blogs and shops

So, feel free to add this blog to your favorite feed reader, or bookmark it and come back. Much to do, updates to come!
